Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - A federal court has awarded several Hollywood studios $111 million in a copyright infringement lawsuit against file-sharing service TorrentSpy. In the judgment filed earlier this week, Valence Media, the site's owner, was ordered to pay $30,000 for each of around 3,700 movie and TV downloads. The site closed in March and Valence is now seeking bankruptcy protection in London.
