San Francisco, CA (AHN) - Internet DVD rental service Netflix said Wednesday it will issue customers a five percent credit because of Monday's outage. The snafu, which lasted about 11 hours, caused DVDs to be mailed one day late. The five-percent credit will be applied to monthly subscription bills. "We thought it was the right thing to do," a Netflix spokesman told the AP. The company refused to reveal the size of the total credit or how many of the service's 7.5 million customers were affected.
