Redmond, WA (AHN) - Days after closing the door on Yahoo, Microsoft is now testing the waters for a potential buyout of Facebook, reports said Wednesday. According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft's financial advisors have talked to Facebook, but "no active discussions" are underway. Microsoft, which serves ads to the social-networking site, in 2007 purchased a 1.6 percent stake in the online service founded by Mark Zuckerberg. This past weekend, Microsoft walked away from negotiations with Yahoo after a three-month bid for the Internet company.
