San Diego, CA (AHN) - Sony has redesigned the PlayStation Network's Store with the new Web site set to launch in two weeks. The new design reportedly provides better organization, aesthetics and a look similar to the PlayStation interface. The redesign was reportedly in response to opinions from a customer survey conducted last year. Respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the old Web site's navigation, as well as the overall interface. Gamespot reported that the website will be designed to cater to the demands of the customers, and will have "more scope of categorization." In preparation of the website's launch on April, the current design will not be featuring any weekly updates, a usual part of its interface. "To enable announcements to be made to the store, no additional downloadable content will be posted prior to the revamp, starting April 3," Sony was quoted. The current content, however, will remain available to customers.
